What we need from you

Reporting to a Senior Operations Manager of our Scotland Business, you will engage with our Senior Operations Manager in the delivery of multidisciplinary projects across the Central and Southern Scotland to our customer’s satisfaction in accordance with Morgan Sindall Standards. The Operations Manager will be an independent role that will require universal distribution of workload over 5 days, with a notional 60%:40% allocation, and work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure project(s) and their associated activities from conception through to completion, including income stream.

• You may be in operational/project management and looking for that ‘step up’ with a future goal of becoming a Senior Operations Manager.
• You can demonstrate a capability in the management of complex multidisciplinary construction schemes.
• You will have a qualification or the skills and experience at a minimum SCQF Level 8/9 (e.g.,HND, DipHE), preferably SCQF Level 10 (Degree, PGCE).
• Engage with the Senior Operations Manager(s) in the preparation of the management accounts for assigned projects and update the operational position for essential stakeholders, including Regional Directors.
• Engage in the identification and response to business risk and opportunities to deliver the business plan.
• Demonstrate the ability to apply a blended approach to this unique opportunity to successfully deliver current project(s) assigned.
• Establish real situational leadership to achieve successful delivery and a people-focused approach.
• You will play a vital role by delivering company values and responsible business commitments.
• Have a real passion for the industry and want to deliver exceptionally, the places where we live, learn, work, play, care and protect.
• You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK.
• You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence.
