Under the direction of the Framework Director, the role of the framework manager is to support the key operations of the national framework team primarily in the delivery of the Department for Education (DfE), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) Frameworks and support the Director of National Frameworks in the day-to-day operations of the Southern Construction Frameworks (SCF).
This role will also include communicating with the central marketing team to support the national frameworks team with the marketing and communications (internal and external) of all national framework activities via different social and traditional media streams and supporting key events.
In pre-construction they will support the regional teams in the understanding of the rules of engagement for each of the frameworks as well as assisting in tender strategy decision making and when required reviewing ITT submissions and interrogating feedback to record and improve tools for drafting of future tenders.
In operations they will support the management multidisciplinary construction projects and their associated activities from conception through to completion, delivering work that meets project requirements, customer satisfaction and in accordance with Morgan Sindall standards. They will play a role in ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental Policies are delivered.
In commercial they will support the management framework contracts, rates, documents/schedules, KPI Data collections, and will support in ensuring that the requirements of the framework agreements are maintained.
In aftercare they will support meeting the client’s requirements including post occupancy evaluations and defects resolution.
They will be a route for escalation for both internal delivery and client teams whilst seeking opportunities for continues improvement and the sharing of lessons always learnt across the multiple business regions and their areas whilst respecting the decentralised approach that is the foundation of our success.
They will be competent and confident to deputise for the framework director when sickness, diary clashes, and annual leave distract them from participation at special interest groups and general framework meetings.
They will be expected to undertake any other task that could be reasonable expected of them including those that are not directly associated with the frameworks the are primarily employed to support.
The candidate will be expected to travel and at times stay away from home when required.
