About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the design strategy behind some of the UK’s most important projects. Educated to HND, HNC or degree level, you’ll have experience shaping design strategies and delivering high-quality outcomes across complex projects. You’ll be comfortable operating across a range of procurement routes, including both single-stage tenders and preferred partner arrangements, and will have played a key role in bidding for and securing new work. You’ll have experience managing design on primary and secondary education projects and understand the unique challenges and standards associated with delivering high-quality learning environments.

You’re a natural collaborator who thrives in a team environment and enjoys working across business units to deliver shared goals. With strong leadership and management skills, you know how to motivate teams and partners to achieve high standards of quality and compliance. Highly organised and commercially aware, you’re able to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on performance or outcomes.

You’ll have a strong understanding of construction practices and standards, combined with the confidence to challenge, influence and guide others to ensure the right solutions are delivered.
