Morgan Sindall Construction’s North East and Cumbria team recently hosted a Getting Connected event in partnership with its Supply Chain Family of manufacturers, suppliers and providers of goods and services in order to strengthen its supply chain for upcoming work in the area.
Morgan Sindall is actively growing its supply chain in this region due to recent project wins such as the Workington Innovation Centre, secured through the Pagabo framework, and a range of other schemes currently in its pipeline.

Getting Connected, hosted at Gosforth Suite at Newcastle Racecourse, attracted over 200 attendees with 55 suppliers exhibiting, helping Morgan Sindall build better relationships between some of its key subcontractors.
During the event Morgan Sindall facilitated several short presentations covering key topics, including:
- Intelligent Solutions
- Perfect Delivery
- The benefits of working with the Supply Chain Family
- Social Value
- Sustainability
- Safety Health and Environment
The aim of the event was to provide an opportunity for all parties to meet one another, create new relationships and share information in an open forum.
With expert advice on hand about how to become an approved supplier with Morgan Sindall and its partners, the event has ensured that the local community are firmly at the heart of the company’s procurement strategy for its upcoming construction projects.
