Morgan Sindall Construction celebrated a remarkable evening at the Constructing Excellence in Wales Awards on Friday 20 June 2025, securing three prestigious accolades.
Delivering Value Award - Ysgol Bro Penfro
Our partnership with Pembrokeshire County Council earned us the Delivering Value Award for the Ysgol Bro Penfro project. This groundbreaking scheme delivered the first Net Zero Carbon in operation Welsh Medium school in Pembrokeshire, achieved a 152% biodiversity net gain and supported the local economy with 90% of subcontracts awarded to Welsh companies. The project exemplified true collaboration from design through to delivery.

Client of the Year Award - Monmouthshire County Council in collaboration with Morgan Sindall
We were delighted to see our valued client Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) recognised with the Client of the Year Award for the King Henry VIII 3-19 School project in Abergavenny.
This award celebrates MCC's exceptional collaborative approach, focus on quality over cost, and commitment to prompt payment practices. Their on-site presence and genuine partnership approach made the project not only successful but genuinely enjoyable to deliver.

Future Leader Recognition
Tom Beasley, our Design Manager, received a Highly Commended recognition in the G4C Future Leader of the Year category. Tom's innovative approach to sustainability, including developing PowerBI carbon dashboards and implementing cutting-edge technologies like GAMMA AR, demonstrates the leadership qualities driving our industry forward. His role as Carbon Champion and committee member of G4C Wales shows his commitment to shaping construction's future.
These awards reflect our continued commitment to collaboration, innovation, and delivering exceptional value for our clients and communities across Wales.

Robert Williams, Area Director at Morgan Sindall Construction Wales, said:
The success at the CEW Awards demonstrates the strength of our partnerships and the dedication of our teams in Wales.
We're proud to work alongside exceptional clients such as Monmouthshire and Pembrokeshire County Councils, and to support the next generation of construction leaders. As we look ahead, we remain committed to setting new standards in sustainable construction and collaborative delivery across the Welsh built environment sector.”
