About the project

The new Ardrossan Community Campus will provide a new all-through 2–18 year old educational & community building to replace the existing Ardrossan Academy and Winton Primary School.

Delivered for North Ayrshire Council in partnership with SCAPE Scotland, the construction of the new campus will provide state-of-the-art educational facilities for over 1400 pupils, as well as community facilities.

Designed by jm architects, the new school will be built on the former disused former Shell site and is due for completion in autumn 2027.

Ardrossan Coastal Quarter

Ardrossan Community Campus is the most significant school investment in North Ayrshire’s history, and is an essential component of the Ardrossan Coastal Quarter regeneration.
