About the project
Ward 12, is the new refurbished ward, located in Great Yarmouth.
The project is a reconstruction of Ward 12 at James Paget University Hospital which is an elderly ward and involves doing RAAC remediation works.

James Paget Hospital – Ward 12 Refurbishment Project
The Ward 12 refurbishment at James Paget Hospital is a £2 million investment designed to deliver a modern, safe, and efficient healthcare environment. It is due to handover early January.
The scope of works includes:
- Full RAAC Support: Ensuring structural integrity and compliance with current safety standards.
- Complete M&E Upgrade: Installation of new mechanical and electrical systems for improved reliability and energy efficiency.
- High-Quality Finishes:
- Vinyl flooring for durability and hygiene.
- Whiterock wall cladding for easy cleaning and infection control.
- Clinical Enhancements:
- Medical gas bedheads for patient care.
- IPS panels for safe plumbing and infection prevention.
- Interior Improvements:
- Suspended ceilings, skimming, and full decorating.
- All new doors for security and accessibility.
