Project Progress- April 2025

Within the last few weeks we have made good progress on site with the foundations to Block C, which when complete, will allow the basement excavation works to start. As well as the ongoing foul and surface water drainage across the site, we have also commenced with the foundations to Block G – which is one of residential buildings. The first of the three tower cranes has also been erected within the period which allows us to progress with the basement works and will be a fundamental tool for when we start to build the concrete frames, with another key milestone being the installation of the Rain Water Harvesting Tank which sits right in the middle of the site. This large tank will store rainwater collected from the roofs of the surrounding buildings and will be used to flush toilets, helping to contribute towards the high sustainability targets of the project.

Planned Progress on Mill Yard

Within the coming month we will be continuing with the foundations to around half the blocks on site and also relocating our current site welfare setup to its permanent location - which will be cited here for the remainder of the project. With works continuing in the ground, the monitoring of dust, noise and vibration will be our main priority, in which we have sensors set up around the site perimeter to help us alleviate, monitor and manage any potential nuisance. Extra watering down plant has been brought in to help suppress the risk of any airborne dust within the dryer months.

Community engagement

We were pleased to attend the breaking ground ceremony of the Memorial Fountain, an initiative for Fallen Heroes of the United Indian Army of WWI & WWII. The fountain will be located next to the Gateway to India, on Mill Road.
