Here's the latest update

Site activites:

  • June has proved to be an extremely busy month with all the shuttering on the bunker being removed, including the internal deck, so we have been able to see the full concrete structure for the first time.
  • We also erected the second phase of steelwork including the metal decking so we can pour the last section of the first floor slab.
  • Roof works have progressed nicely on block 2 and all the windows have been installed to the ground floor of the building helping us become water tight.
  • We have completed the external walls throughout Block 1 and 2 and released the inside of the building for fire protection paint to the steelwork and to commence the internal walls.
  • Finally, we have just commenced the external brickwork which is the first of our finishing trades externally.

Community Engagement

The team are completing remodelling an external garden into a soft workspace. Over the course of a week the team will be removing large overgrown shrubs, levelling the ground, installing a weed blanket, and relaying a carpet of bark mulch. Works will also include building some raised planters, reinstating tyre plants, installing new coffee tables and repainting the tired looking fence.

Work Experience

This month James has started producing as built drawings, monitoring the installation of internal walls. This will become his focus as the job now progresses towards internal fit out. James will continue to monitor and record this progress alongside

We are also looking to progress the internal works by forming the internal walls, installing containment and ductwork in the ceiling voids and progressing the soffit fire protection detailing on the first floor
