Key facts

The construction commenced on the 10th July 2025 and is anticipated to be completed in summer 2026.
We will be building a primary school able to accommodate 420 pupils as well as a 60-place nursery and a 12 place SEND provision, and multi purpose outdoor spaces.
The school’s design will enable it to be expanded in the future to a capacity of 630 pupils.
The building work will be split into 4 main sections, the north block, the south block, the nursery and the sport pitches.

About the project

Orchard View Primary Academy is the second primary school on the Kingsbrook Development.

The project is a modern, purpose-built school with a future capacity of 630 pupils, alongside a 60-place nursery and a 12-place SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provision. The initial phase which is our current works will establish a 2FE (420-place) primary school, a 60-place nursery, and full SEND provision. The school will provide attractive open spaces with activities for pupils to enjoy, such as play, recreation and sports, etc.
