CCS and CLOCS Full Marks

The Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) is designed to champion change in construction by measuring worker wellbeing, community relations and environmental impact. Through regular site visits and clear performance feedback, CCS promotes continuous improvement and drives accountability and improving industry performance. Their work supports contractors and clients in meeting growing expectation around social value, environmental responsibility, and community engagement. This ensures the core priorities of construction projects are aligned with modern Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) requirements.

Likewise, the Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) Standard calls for the construction industry to recognise its responsibility for vehicles and drivers delivering to and collecting from construction sites and provides a clear framework to ensure everyone knows their roles and responsibilities in eliminating construction work related road risk (WRRR).

On 22 September 2025, Morgan Sindall Construction welcomed an independent Monitor to visit the Outdoor Sports Centre project to measure its conformance to the code. Following his thorough review and observations during a walk around the project, he has awarded full marks 45/45 for CCS and 23/23 for CLOCS in his reports.

"An excellent conformance in all areas of the code, a company and site committed to achieving high standards, well done to the team."
