Latest Drone Footage and Update - October 2025

Morgan Sindall Construction zones progress during October 2025 as follows:

Community Hub

The steel frame is now complete in line with programme and follow-on trades have started their works in the form of decking and slab preparation and pours. The lift pits have been cast in the ground and gas membrane works completed and inspected by a 3rd party authoriser. Concrete stairs are also in place giving access to all floors for the workforce.

Woodland Car Park

Finishing surfaces getting closer to completion. We have white-lined the tarmac bays and installation of the demarcation clips within the grated stone bays continues. Fencing works have also commenced.

Alpine Snow Sports Centre

All old denex material on slopes 2 and 3 has been removed by specialist contractor Snowflex. More than 5 layers of geotextile were discovered in the process!

Athletics Pavilion

Works to the new Athletics Pavilion started in October with stripping of the ground and demolition of the existing grandstand and associated foundations.

Family Zone

Continuation of works in this area including ground works for the skate park zone. New drainage has been implemented within the old boating lake to ensure effective drainage to the area.
