An Introduction to Flooring for the Redbridge Construction Academy Students

In partnership with Altro, we were able to deliver a session recently to the Redbridge Construction Academy Year 11 class. Altro is an international manufacturer of high-quality flooring and wall cladding solutions – from hospitality to healthcare.

Students took part in welding and thermoforming activities giving the exposure to other possible trades that are available to them in the future. They made their own iPad stands which they could keep and take home and it was great to see them all get so involved in the practical demonstrations.

The stories shared with the students were truly inspirational with a career that can take you all around the world – on cruise ships, oil rigs and even a visit to Buckingham Palace – they all have floors!
