Latest Drone Footage and Update - January 2026

Morgan Sindall Construction zones progress during January 2026 as follows:

Community Hub

The main focus in January has been to close the building to enable internal fitout works to commence. The roof penetrations continue to be sealed to focus on eliminating rainfall into the building along with closing externa SFS walls to stop sideways driven rain.

Good progress made on external scaffolding along with internal blockwork walls nearing completion on both floors.

The covered court frame is complete and good progress on its roof as it does not need to rely on dry conditions.

Alpine Snow Sports Centre

Completion of retaining wall and ground floor slab to the building along with drainage and service to the building footprint in readiness for steel frame for new ski lodge building.

Civil works to ski slopes 2 and 3 completed and awaiting the snowflex matting layers to commence. Drainage works to learner slope nearing completion.

Athletics Pavilion and Grandstand

Steel frame completed allowing warm roof build up and commencement of external walls.

Grandstand slab works underway ready for concrete pour.

Woodland Car Park

Works to the car park are now complete with just the S278 Works remaining along with landscape planting and street light installations to conclude.

Family Zone

Betong have completed all skate park works.

Forte have completed the pump track ahead of schedule allowing the groundworkers to start the outside seating areas and footpaths.

Works to footpaths and drainage are ongoing in the family zone play area in preparation for play equipment.
