Construction activities have continued to progress well across the site, with key milestones now achieved.
Demolition works are complete, alongside the careful protection of heritage elements. Structural alterations are advancing, including the installation of steelwork to form new openings. Internally, plastering to walls is underway with first-coat decoration progressing to enable follow-on trades. Mechanical and electrical installations are developing steadily, with early fit-out works commenced within toilet areas, and the installation of main ventilation systems and pipework distributed throughout the building.
Externally, groundworks to the north are in progress, preparing for new reinforced concrete walls and planters, along with new drainage infrastructure. In addition, installation of the new roof dormer is underway, contributing to the overall advancement of the project.
We have also been pleased to support local engagement initiatives during this period. We recently welcomed students from a nearby college to site, providing them with valuable insight into the construction industry and hosting an interactive Q&A session where they had the opportunity to speak directly with members of the project team. In addition, our team attended a local careers fair, engaging with hundreds of students to share information on pathways into the industry and highlight the wide range of roles available within construction.
