Since breaking ground on the Woolwich Leisure Centre, our team — alongside our dedicated supply chain partners — has been committed to ensuring that the local community sees meaningful, lasting benefits from the project.

This commitment goes beyond bricks and mortar. Through a range of social value initiatives, including apprenticeships, work placements, and training opportunities, we’re helping local people gain the skills and experience they need to thrive in the construction industry. One standout feature is our bespoke Knowledge Quad — a purpose-built learning hub on-site that provides a safe and inspiring space for training, workshops, and engagement with schools, colleges, and community groups.

Our team is proud of the positive impact being made in Greenwich, and recently, the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) visited the site to see it all in action. They heard firsthand how these initiatives are supporting local careers, enhancing educational opportunities, and creating a genuine sense of community ownership around the project.
