About the Role
Joining our successful team of passionate and dedicated managers, you’ll report to our Operations Director, oversee multiple projects, with diverse Site teams, and additional have the ability to step in and lead large projects should the workload demand. You’ll set up projects and support the teams to manage the design, have a sound understanding of procurement, managing customers expectation, whilst focusing on safety and quality, demonstrating leadership and character. The role involves working closely with the preconstruction teams to ensure sufficient resource and contribution from an operational perspective resulting in robust and fully considered tender submission that enables the best possible delivery on site. Being commercially aware and have the ability to motivate people is crucial. Ultimately ensuring all functions are coordinated and working as one team
About You
Already experienced as a contracts manager you will be educated to higher HNC/HND level in Building Studies (or equivalent). You will have experience of ensuring that contracts are within full compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental legislation as well as compliant with company procedures. Ensuring all risks are understood and sufficiently managed. You will also have experience of monitoring and driving progress of the construction/maintenance to ensure the finished works are to the correct specification. Have the skills to mentor, motivate and performance manage the teams to ensure optimum and effective delivery.
Ideally, you’ll have worked on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure, residential, life sciences and Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million with the ability to run up to 3 live schemes
A full UK driving licence is essential.

The team has grown in 2016 from 7 to over 70 people and is focused on early-stage procurement to create efficient solutions for customers.
