Engage with supply chain and team members to discuss and achieve optimum programme and build solutions.
Produce and assist in the production of method statements, answers to quality questions and ensure that tender programmes align with the pricing methods.
Develop and produce (or lead if outsourced) logistic plans, phasing plans, 4D elements and CGI production.
Produce tender deliverables as required (agreed at tender kick off meeting)
Ensure all deliverables are produced to the agreed Tender Activity Programme (TAP) timescales to ensure they are available to other members of the tender team in good time.
Generate and contribute to the production of the Prelim Book during the tender stage - comprising producing schedules and obtaining prices for items such as scaffolding, temporary site services, temporary works (TW), craneage, cabins, hoarding, reviewing management site staff requirements for running projects onsite etc.
Produce, manage, and update the construction programme and its communication to internal and external customers and major stakeholders.
Experience of Planning Management on both JCT and NEC forms of contract.
Manage and incorporate change events into the design, procurement, and construction programme and jointly with the commercial team, review, and secure entitlement under the contract.
Provide detailed support and assistance to the project in order to enable the team to monitor pinch-points on the critical path and test and change logic where previously agreed to either improve upon the baseline programme or to mitigate potential delays.
Assist project managers and site teams with onsite planning and reporting requirements.
Ability to chair and lead Collaborative Planning sessions.
You will be educated to degree or HNC (or equivalent) in Building Studies or other equivalent related subject.
Significant experience in the main contracting market with experience of working on multiple project schemes between £10 and £80 million.
