About the Role

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated people working within our Construction Thames Valley area.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Estimating Manager to lead the pre-construction journey and be the front-facing contact for all existing and prospective customers. You will plan and manage all aspects of bids providing subject matter expertise in the industry and ensure effective and inspirational bid management and leadership is provided on all tenders.

Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare & Leisure schemes is an advantage.

About You

  • You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK
  • You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence.
  • You will have a qualification or the skills and experience at SCQF Level 8/9, 10 (e.g., HND, Degree level)
  • Be able to work on multiple projects at various stages at any one time without the need for close supervision.
  • Establish winning strategies and writing plans for quality led bids and participates in red reviews of prequalification documents and tenders
  • Give support and assistance to other team members as required, to ensure bid management provides an effective and value adding function throughout the business
  • Coordinate the production of bids and proposals, producing a costed bid plan and gain all relevant authorisations
  • Have a diligent approach to the preparation of information to customers and to the checking of information provided by others.
  • Have a real passion for the industry and want to deliver exceptionally, the places where we live, learn, work, play, care and protect
