Join the team
With apprenticeship and trainee schemes available to all regardless of your age, our programmes are designed to give you the best start in your role.
We recruit apprentices and trainees in both site and office-based roles. Site based roles are typically site or project management, quantity surveying and design management, but there are also exciting career opportunities in roles not always associated with the construction industry, such as HR, marketing, finance, procurement and business development. We recognise and value the benefit of identifying and growing our future pipeline of talent through apprenticeships which combine the theory with essential practical learning.
It’s important to remember that apprenticeships are not just for those leaving school. There are also opportunities for those who are looking to progress in their career through higher level apprenticeships starting from level four through to degree apprenticeships.
You’ll be a Morgan Sindall Construction apprenticeship ambassador
Construction is not often seen as a career choice, however the industry needs to recruit new people to fulfil future roles and developments in the industry. When you join Morgan Sindall Construction, you’ll work with the team as an ambassador for apprenticeship and training opportunities in the Construction industry. This may include, representing Morgan Sindall Construction at careers events in schools and colleges, or through partnerships with charities or recruitment programmes. This is a great way to put your presentation skills into action and develop confidence.

How we support our apprentices and trainees
You will gain first class on-the-job experience supported by line management and the wider team of skilled colleagues, giving you the exposure and opportunity to learn and to successfully complete your apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. In addition, you will be supported with a range of technical training applicable to your discipline and take part in some broader personal development at the right time to suit your development and aspirations. Typically, you will attend college either one day a week or as part of a block-release depending on the qualification you are studying.
