Meet Research Analyst Louise Sturman

Ever wondered what a day in the life of a Research Analyst looks like?

Meet Louise Sturman who's currently working for Morgan Sindall to support our collaboration with R&D initiative RECONMATIC.

Louise's academic journey reflects her dedication to sustainability, holding a BSc in Environment Management and an MSc in Environmental Assessment and Management from the The University of Salford - also a partner of RECONMATIC.

In her pivotal role, Louise is tasked with researching past projects to identify construction waste streams and gathering carbon data on construction materials and products. The data that Louise collates and analyses forms the basis of our research into better construction waste management, and maximising the value of waste through re-use and recycling.

I love working in the office as it's a very friendly environment, and I also get the chance to go onsite and to visit manufacturers as part of my role. In the future I hope to be an Environmental Manager and this role is helping me to get there."
