Morgan Sindall Construction invests in London and Home Counties growth

Morgan Sindall Construction has created a new business unit, Northern Home Counties Ventures, led by Director Emma Curtis, and appointed Richard Dobson as Regional Managing Director for London, as part of a wider strengthening of leadership across the Home Counties and the capital.

The changes follow a sustained period of success and will expand management capacity in key areas.

The Home Counties has become one of the company’s strongest growth stories. Under Regional Managing Director Sean Bradley, working with Regional Commercial Director Matt Guy, it now operates as three businesses: the established Northern Home Counties business, the newly created Northern Home Counties Ventures and the Southern Home Counties.

The Northern Home Counties businesses span Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire and the North London boroughs. Sean and Matt have long-standing careers in the business and have worked together successfully over many years.

Emma Curtis’s appointment as Director of the newly created Ventures arm gives Northern Home Counties additional, dedicated senior management capacity. Emma’s long-term experience at Morgan Sindall positions her and her team to leverage the significant leisure, health and wider investment being made in the region.

Rod Pavey, who joined the business in 2025, has been appointed to lead the established Northern Home Counties business as Area Director, and Southern Home Counties continues under established Area Director Guy Hannell, delivering schemes across Surrey, Kent and Sussex. Both will have a portfolio that includes work across the education, healthcare, leisure, justice and commercial sectors.

In London, Richard Dobson has been appointed Regional Managing Director. He is joined by Adam Allen as Regional Commercial Director, and they will continue to build on the success the team has created delivering a broad range of public and private sector projects. Both Richard and Adam have enjoyed long-term careers with Morgan Sindall in the capital.
