Social Enterprise Scotland's Festive Networking Event

As part of our ongoing partnership with Social Enterprise Scotland, we were delighted to contribute to the organisation's December Festive Networking Event, bringing together businesses and organisations committed to creating positive social impact across Scotland.

Representing Morgan Sindall, Elizabeth Halliday, Head of Responsible Business, delivered a presentation on 'Why Buy Social Matters: Impact Through Procurement', highlighting the important role that procurement can play in supporting social enterprises and strengthening local communities.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to share experiences, showcase the benefits of social procurement, and engage with like-minded organisations that are committed to driving meaningful social change.

Reflecting on the event, Elizabeth said:

Supporting Social Enterprise Scotland’s Festive Networking Event was a fantastic opportunity to bring together organisations that share a commitment to creating positive social impact through business. At Morgan Sindall Construction, we recognise the important role social enterprises play in building stronger, more resilient communities, and we are proud to champion social procurement through our delivery and supply chain activities. It was a privilege to contribute to the discussion on why buying social matters and to collaborate with others who are driving meaningful change across Scotland.

At Morgan Sindall, we remain committed to working with social enterprises and embedding social value into our procurement practices, helping to create lasting benefits for communities across Scotland.
