SCAPE Executive Leadership Team visit
The project team welcomed the SCAPE Executive Leadership Team for a site visit.
Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of visiting Ardrossan Community Campus in North Ayrshire with my colleague Gary Meechan - a pioneering project being delivered through the SCAPE Scotland Construction Framework in partnership with Morgan Sindall Construction and on behalf of North Ayrshire Council.
It was fantastic to see first-hand what true collaboration looks like in action. The partnership between SCAPE Scotland, Morgan Sindall and their supply chain is clearly delivering real value. Hearing directly from Deans Civil Engineering about their role in the project was particularly insightful.
While the completed campus will undoubtedly be a fantastic community asset, what really stood out to me was how the project is setting the benchmark for both social value and sustainability. Morgan Sindall’s proactive community engagement means local people are benefiting from the outset of this project. At the same time, the shared commitment from SCAPE and Morgan Sindall to embed sustainable solutions is helping to push the boundaries of what’s possible in UK construction, including the use of the first fully battery-powered pile driving rig. - Caroline Compton-James, Deputy Chief Executive, Scape
