The redevelopment of a former hostel at 2 Chester Road will provide 50 new temporary homes for families, with common areas, a staff room and office. The building will be 3 and 4 storeys in height. The project also includes enhancements to the public footpath to the north and a new public courtyard for the residents of Chester Road.

Working in the Camden community

Making a positive difference in the communities where we work is a vital part of our responsible business plan. Our Community Investment Group supports our project teams in the delivery of local community engagement projects. The London team is part of the wider London & Home Counties business unit, which operates out of four offices, the Euston office being associated with this project.

Helen Ruddy, Social Value Co-ordinator, is the dedicated community contact for the Chester Road Hostel project and will maintain communications with neighbours and the surrounding community. If you have any questions, please do get in touch with Helen via the contact form at the bottom of the page with any queries regarding the project.

As a business, we are members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme and are signed up to the Code of Considerate Practice, which lies with Camden Council’s environmental team, to minimise impact from the project works.

By visiting this page, residents and the wider community will obtain information about the project on Chester Road. Here residents, businesses and the wider community will be able to make comments, share their views and raise concerns.

Our project team will provide monthly newsletters to residents and the wider community.

This page will be kept up to date with relevant information about the construction works and upcoming opportunities for Camden residents.

Using this page residents, local stakeholders and the wider community of Camden will be able to share any thoughts, concerns, and suggestions with the project team.
