Morgan Sindall Construction zones progress during April 2026 as follows:

Community Hub

The community hub section continues to progress internally and externally with favourable weather conditions during April. Internal works continued at pace in all areas with follow-on trades such as plastering well underway along with decorating and internal screeds. MEP also continues in all areas and ceilings closures. Externally all windows are closed and brickwork rises making good progress as well as the roofing benefitting from the better weather conditions.

Alpine Snow Sports Centre

The new centre's roof is completed as well as internal blockwork walls allowing internal fitout to commence within the lodge building.

Snowflex continue to make good progress on the slopes with the specialist carpet and green boundary carpet now being installed on slopes 2 and 3 and learner slope. The pull rope install has commenced along with pump housing for the new misting system.

Athletics Pavilion and Grandstand

During April, completion of the brickwork, ,windows, shutter and roof guttering. Internal fitout continues with plastering, decorations and carpentry all underway. MEP also progressed well with commissioning due next month.

Woodland Car Park

Works to the car park are now complete including landscaping with just the S278 Works remaining and street light installations to conclude.

Family Zone

Specialist works completed to the pump track and skate park.

Works to footpaths and planting areas are ongoing in the family zone play area. The installation of the play area equipment continues.

Block 2 works continue with internal finishes underway.
