Digital Skills go to Redbridge Construction Academy

Our last session with the Year 10s studying the built environment was another highlight.

Firstly Cliff and Sue launched our 6th year partnership with Redbridge Community School which continues to flourish and showcase the range of careers available in construction including some that probably don't even exist yet! This evoked good questions and debate from a group who want to succeed in our industry. We look forward to working with them all over the next academic year and providing further opportunities for them.

But more exciting was the visit by Marcus and Harry from The Drone Company (who compile our monthly progress updates) where each and every student was able to fly one of their cutting edge technology drones. Luckily they had good faith in all of us that nothing could go wrong. It took some of the students outside their comfort zone but good to see they all gave it a go and thoroughly enjoyed it.
