Key facts
- A brand-new secondary school featuring a four-storey teaching wing centred around a large multi-functional atrium. Designed to replace the existing 1970s building, the new facility will provide modern learning environments for more than 1,100 pupils.
- Enhanced facilities for sport, extracurricular clubs and community activities, alongside a dedicated Special Resource Base supporting up to 60 students.
- Working closely with the local community through our social value delivery plan, including engaging local suppliers and businesses to help drive long-term economic growth and create lasting community benefits.

About the project
St Richard Gwyn Catholic High School, also known SRG, is an educational project located in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan.
The project consists of a brand new state-of-the-art secondary school featuring a striking four-storey teaching wing centred around a large multi-functional atrium. Designed to replace the existing 1970s building, the new inclusive facility will provide modern learning environments for more than 1,100 pupils.
Working in the Barry community
Making a positive difference in the communities where we work is a vital part of our responsible business plan. Our Community Investment Group supports our project teams in the delivery of local community engagement projects. The SRG team is part of the wider Cardiff & Bristol business unit, which operates out of 2 regional offices, the Cardiff Office being associated with this project.
