Supporting Social Enterprise Through the Buy Social Pledge

In December 2024, Morgan Sindall Construction strengthened its commitment to responsible business practices by signing the Buy Social Pledge and becoming a sponsor member of Social Enterprise Scotland (SES). The pledge demonstrates our commitment to creating social value through procurement and supporting organisations that reinvest their profits to benefit communities and tackle social challenges.

As part of this commitment, Morgan Sindall Construction hosts dedicated engagement opportunities for social enterprises, helping organisations learn more about supply chain opportunities within the construction sector and explore ways of working together to deliver lasting social value. In June 2025, this included a dedicated Meet the Buyer event designed specifically for social enterprises.

Morgan Sindall Construction is also proud to support and celebrate the achievements of Scotland's social enterprise sector through the Social Enterprise Scotland Awards. In November 2025, we sponsored the Environmental Award, which was won by Highland Weigh in recognition of its positive environmental impact. We are pleased to continue this support as sponsor of the 2026 Environmental Award.

Through initiatives such as the Buy Social Pledge, supplier engagement events and our ongoing partnership with Social Enterprise Scotland, Morgan Sindall Construction continues to champion social enterprise and promote the positive social, environmental and economic impact these organisations deliver across Scotland.
