About the project
Dumfries High School, is the new build high school to replace the current facility located in Dumfries, Scotland.
Delivered by hub South West Scotland (hub SW) in partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Council, with funding supported by the Learning Estate Investment Programme, the construction of the £53 million project will provide state-of-the-art educational facilities for over 930 pupils.
Designed by Ryder Architecture, the new school will be built on the site of the former high school’s football pitch and is due for completion in spring 2026.
Working in the Dumfries & Galloway community
Making a positive difference in the communities we work is a vital part of our responsible business plan. Our Community Investment Group supports our project teams in the delivery of local community engagement projects. The Morgan Sindall Construction Scotland business unit operates out of two regional offices, the Eurocentral office being associated with this project.
Jim Wilson, Senior Project Manager, is the dedicated community contact for the Dumfries High School project and will maintain communications with neighbours and the surrounding community. If you have any questions, please do get in touch with Jim via the contact form at the bottom of the page with any queries regarding the project.
As a business we are proud members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, which has a Code of Considerate Practice designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.
