Dear Hackney Resident
Following the last resident forum we advised that the current welfare accommodation on site is only temporary, for the initial enabling works, and a more permanent set up would be delivered in the near future.
We now have two planned delivery dates for the new set up, as explained in more detail below.
Current arrangement of our site set up:
First Delivery – 26th June 2026
On the 23rd June we will be delivering an additional cabin which will be landed on top of the current induction room, position noted in the image above. There will be no windows situated at the rear of the cabin to avoid overlooking into the gardens and properties of St Johns Mansions, we anticipate this set up being in place for the majority of the construction phase but it will be removed to facilitate the external works in 2028.
The installation of this additional cabin will be completed by close of play 23rd June 2026.

The placement of the new cabin will be carried out with use of a HIAB vehicle positioned in approximate position shown below:
2nd Delivery – Main cabin set up – W/C 6th July 2026
The main welfare accommodation and office space is a three storey set up, which is approximately 9 meters wide by 7 meters in depth. It has been positioned as shown to avoid a clash with the new build zone 7 (Sports hall), also taking into consideration the site logistics, retained trees within the car park and existing substation UKPN access requirements.

The installation and set up is planned to take place from Tuesday 7th July until Friday 10th July 2026 and will require a small crane to lift it into position. The location of the crane will sit adjacent to the cabin location.
