Welcome to the project page for the St Richard's Hospital (SRH) Acute Stroke Centre project, which is being built by Morgan Sindall Construction.
Here you can read about the project and its positive effect on the community, and track progress as it happens.
The Acute Stroke Centre represents the fourth project delivered by Morgan Sindall Construction (Southern Home Counties) at St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, and the seventh collaboration with University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust since 2020, demonstrating a strong, ongoing partnership and commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare facilities.
Making a positive difference in the communities where we work is a vital part of our responsible business plan. Our Community Investment Group supports our project teams in the delivery of local community engagement projects. The Southern Home Counties team is part of the wider London & Home Counties business unit, which operates out of four offices, the Brighton office being associated with this project.
Steve White, Project Manager, is the dedicated community contact for the Acute Stroke Centre project and will maintain communications with neighbours and the surrounding community. If you have any questions, please do get in touch with Steve via the contact form at the bottom of the page with any queries regarding the project.
As a business, we are members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme and are signed up to the Code of Considerate Practice, which lies with Camden Council’s environmental team, to minimise impact from the project works.
This page will provide a snapshot of activities we have been undertaking in the local community.
