We have now commenced initial enabling works on site and the hoarding installation to site boundary is now complete and site secured. Additionally, a new vehicle access to the site has been constructed off Fairlands Way and the existing vehicle access off St. Georges Way is now closed.
Works to construct a new pedestrian crossing across St. Georges Way will also be progressed.
We will be progressing with the following works over the next period:
- Drainage works to both car park areas
- Demolition of the single-storey extension of the existing Swimming Centre
- Construction of piling matt in readiness for the main construction works.
