Two forest schools have been introduced into the scheme to facilitate and encourage outdoor learning.

The project has a phased handover, the building in Autumn/Winter 2024 and remainder of site playing fields and energy centre Summer 2025.

About the project

Ysgol 3-19 Brenin Harri’r VIII / King Henry VIII 3-19 School, is a new three storey all-through upper and lower school catering for 1820 pupils, located in Abergavenny.

The project includes facilities for foundation, primary, secondary, sixth form and children with additional learning needs. You can find out more about our appointment to the project in this press release.

Making a positive difference in the communities we work is a vital part of our responsible business plan. Our Community Investment Group supports our project teams in the delivery of local community engagement projects.
